The FLOWAIR LEO EL S-BMS is a high-performance electric air heater designed for efficient heating of industrial, commercial and large-volume buildings. Combining powerful electric heating with high airflow performance, it provides rapid and effective heat distribution throughout the occupied space.
The LEO EL S-BMS is equipped with electric heating elements, providing a heating capacity of up to 22.8 kW, with an airflow range of 1,200–4,250 m³/h. This makes it suitable for applications where a gas or hot-water heating system is unavailable or where electric heating is preferred.
The unit can be mounted horizontally at high level, making it particularly effective for distributing heated air across large floor areas. With the addition of the appropriate FLOWAIR control components and destratifiers, the LEO EL S-BMS can operate in automatic destratification mode, utilising the heat naturally stored beneath the ceiling.
During heating operation, warm air naturally rises and can accumulate at high level. The automatic destratification function helps redistribute this stored heat back into the occupied zone, improving temperature uniformity throughout the building. This can help maintain comfortable thermal conditions while reducing heating energy consumption, as the heaters can operate at a lower output or only activate when the available heat beneath the ceiling is insufficient.
The BMS-compatible control system allows the LEO EL S-BMS to be incorporated into a building management system, providing centralised control of heating, fan operation and associated destratification functions. Additional FLOWAIR control components can be specified to provide automatic temperature-based operation and coordination between the heaters and destratifiers.
The LEO EL S-BMS can also be combined with other FLOWAIR heating and ventilation equipment, providing a flexible and energy-efficient solution for large-volume buildings.
